I'm Johannes Herold, a tech entrepreneur based in Lübeck, Germany.

For over 30 years, I've been building digital businesses — from early internet infrastructure and hosting systems to AI-driven platforms and products today.

I focus on building end-to-end systems where architecture, product, and interface work as one. Some of these systems scale infrastructure. Others, like breathe, explore how technology fits into everyday human rituals.

Through idearockers, I'm currently building ventures including wynd (hyperlocal wind data), flowboost (AI content agents), and breathe (mindfulness app).

Previously, I founded and scaled checkdomain, which was acquired in 2019.
